Astrid Partners is a boutique advisory firm that works exclusively with asset-intensive businesses: mining operators, fleet companies, and industrial manufacturers. We don't cover every industry. We go deep in the ones we know.
The firm is led by a Managing Director with 10+ years in enterprise advisory, previously at IBM and a national consulting firm, with deep experience in enterprise data platforms, AI and machine learning, operating model design, and M&A integration across complex organizations. The team brings direct industry experience where it counts: delivering spare parts optimization, data platform implementation, maintenance analytics, and functional optimization programs inside mining, manufacturing, and mobility operations. That combination — analytical rigor and industry depth — is what makes the diagnostic work.
The thesis behind the firm is straightforward. The discipline that recovers margin is not industry-specific, it is analytical. Connect fragmented data. Build predictive models. Redesign workflows around what the numbers prove. Most asset-intensive operators have never applied that rigor to maintenance and procurement. That is where the margin is.

Our team has delivered spare parts optimization, data platform programs, and maintenance analytics inside mining and automotive operations. We know what the data looks like before it's been cleaned. We know what a material master looks like when nobody has touched it in five years. That context shapes how we scope, what we look for, and what we skip.
Bounded engagements, not open scope
We take on 6–8 week diagnostic engagements with a fixed deliverable: a prioritized opportunity map with a dollar value on every initiative. No T&M. No retainer-by-default. If you want implementation support after, we can discuss it. But the diagnostic stands alone.
We only take work where we can win
Every engagement we accept is expected to return 10× our fee in year one. That's not a marketing claim. It's a filter. If we can't see a clear path to that return when we scope the work, we tell you. We don't take the engagement.
No software to sell you
We are not a technology vendor with a platform that needs a client. We use your existing systems (SAP PM/MM, CMMS, ERP) and build the analysis, logic, and workflows on top of what you already have. The output is yours.
