Most consulting engagements are designed to extend themselves. Ours are designed to end. Each engagement delivers a specific deliverable, a quantified opportunity, and a roadmap your team can execute independently. We measure success by whether the work paid for itself, not by whether the engagement expanded.

We work in asset-intensive operations because that's where the math is most compelling. Emergency MRO spend, unplanned downtime, and excess inventory are large, measurable, and recoverable. A focused 6–8 week diagnostic can surface $5–20M in opportunity. The margin is already there. We help you recover it.

The rules we work by

The work has to pay for itself. Many times over.

Every engagement we take on is expected to return 10× our fee in year one. We build the business case before we start, and we tell you if we can't get there. The diagnostic exists to find that number, not to justify starting a longer project.

We work in your systems, not ours

We don't have a platform. We use your ERP, your CMMS, your historian. The models, logic, and workflows we build sit on top of what you already have, and when we leave, you own them. No dependency on Astrid to maintain the gains.

Senior people do the work

There are no junior teams staffed behind a partner face. The people who scope the engagement are the people who run it. That's not a pitch. It's the only way this model works at the engagement size we operate at.

The output is a decision, not a deck

We deliver a prioritized roadmap with a dollar value on every initiative. It's designed to support a capital allocation decision or an operating review, not to open the door to the next phase of consulting.
